Moving liquids, utilizing.- Apparatus for exhibiting fluids, powders, &c. comprises an inclined sheet 1 of translucent material, such as opalescent glass, over which the fluid is poured from a trough 7. The fluid runs into a sump 5 and may be returned to the trough 7 by a pump 12. A sheet 27 of translucent material, e.g. celluloid, spreads the fluid curtain in its fall on to the sheet 1. A lamp 26 may be provided behind the sheet 1. A number of units may be arranged side by side, the several pumps 12 being driven by a common shaft rotated by an electromotor.
