Abstract

228,495. Brubaker, W. A. Jan. 30, 1924, [Convention date]. Non-metallic elastic bodies. - A cushion tyre is formed with spaced transverse cavities 16 extending alternately from the sides to about the middle of the tyre body. The inner end of each cavity is rounded at 23 and continued by a smaller cavity 24. The tread is formed with staggered zigzag grooves 28 arranged over the solid portions of the tyre.
