Abstract

Light, treating diseases with; magnetic appliances.-Apparatus for treating diseases with light and magnetism comprises an open-ended cage q of soft iron surrounding an electric incandescent lamp g in the holder of which an electromagnet m is arranged so that the magnet is in series with the lamp. The lamp, which may be coloured, is screwed into the inner sleeve d of two concentric sleeves d, f, and carries a terminal k which makes contact with the upper terminal p of the electromagnet. The lower terminal p of the electromagnet makes contact with a terminal i supported on an insulating block e. Current is supplied from a plug contact a and flexible wires b, one of which is connected to the terminal i and the other to the holder.
