226,122. Rogers, F. H., (Automatenstrumpf-Stickerei System Lohse Akt.-Ges.). July 14, 1924. Embroidery machines.- A stretching frame for supporting stockings whilst being embroidered with clocks is provided with adjustable supporting plates for accurately positioning the embroidery. A frame 1, provided round its periphery with attachment pins, carries lower and upper plates 3, 4 supported by slotted brackets to allow of adjustment. The plates 3 have pins 2 which engage the apex of the heel angle. The upper edges 8 of the plates 3 are inclined in correspondence with the heel angle. The stocking is attached to the frame with its ribs parallel to the inner edges of the plates 3, 4.
