Ink-ribbon mechanism.-In combined typewriting and computing machines having an automatic device for adjusting the ink ribbon to print debits. credits, &c. in different colours, comprising a link 26 which is connected to the variablethrow means 18 of the vibrator-lever 16, and is (1) automatically raised and lowered by means of an arm 25 on a rock-shaft 23, or (2) automatically tripped from the arm 25, and thereby silenced, by means of a rock-shaft 34 having an arm 35 connected to the link, the link can be tripped by means of a manually-operated pushrod 27 engaging an arm 33 on the rock-shaft 34. The push-rod is provided with a knob 32, a stopcollar 31, and a returning-spring 30.
