223,386. Windover, W. L. S, Oct. 1, 1823. Luggage, parcel, and like holders.- A tool-box A, positioned in a recess in or below the platform step B of a motor road vehicle is carried bv two brackets C screwed to the box and to the underside of the step, and a lid D is provided having a deep sleeve F arranged completely to encircle, the box body to shield it from rain, a bead G being arranged around the edge of the lid in such a way as to rest also on the step. The lid is held by locks E or fastenings and a shield H is provided in front of the box to protect it from mud.
