Abstract

Sights; sighting-accessories.-Apparatus for use in shooting at night comprises a lamp for illuminating the foresight and a second lamp for illuminating the object aimed at. both lamps being controlled by a single switch so constructed that the first movement closes the circuit of the first lamp. and a further movement in the same direction closes the circuit of the second. As shown in Fig 8, the switch, which is clamped to the gun, comprises a body part 15 and a slide 24 carrying two contact strips 26, 27 adapted to bridge pairs of spring contact plugs 29, 31, respectively, to close the lamp circuits. The lamp 2, Fig. 4, for illuminating the foresight is enclosed in an adjustable casing 1 pierced with a small lateral hole through which a ray of light passes to the foresight.
