Abstract
220,869. Slater & Co., Engineers, Ltd., J., and Robinson, J. C. Dec. 15, 1923. Disinfecting-chambers of the kind provided with a hot air or steam jacket and in which hot air is introduced into the interior of the chamber to displace the sterilizing steam are formed with a passage for heating this air supply constituted by the application of a plate or plates to the jacket-plate. In the arrangement shown, a gap is left in the jacket-plate b and this is bridged by plates f, g which provide between them a space e to which air is introduced by a pipe, i and from which it is conveyed, to the interior of the chamber a by a valve-controlled pipe j.
