218,648. Soc. Anon. des Anciens Etablissements Panhard et Levassor. July 6, 1923, [Convention date]. Cylinders, construction of and cooling.-A cylinder cover, which is adapted to be placed in position by being passed through the cylinder bore, has a number of symmetrically placed bosses 9, for sparking plugs &c., and a cover 12 of thin pressed-metal which is welded to collars 10, 11 and so form a space for the cooling fluid which is circulated through holes 6. The cover is secured either by studs 8 or by a flanged sleeve which is screwed on to an extension of a collar 4.
