Optical-projection apparatus.-The light source in a kinematograph projector comprises an incandescent electric lamp having two or more filaments of the same or different illuminating powers; the filaments may be used simultaneously or separately, and may be put into or out of circuit by hand control or by means operating automatically in accordance with the speed of the film. As shown, the lamp has three filaments 7, 8, 9 connected to four lead wires 3 - - 6. Automatic control may be effected by a centrifugal device operating a circuit-breaker.
