Abstract

216,802. Cathles, J. W., and Cathles, M. L. Dec. 11, 1923. Push - button switches.- Bell pushes or the like of special use when the bell circuit is used as a wireless aerial or as a. connecting link between a receiving set in one room and telephones in another room, are provided with two external terminals 11 to which extensions of the bell or other circuit may be connected. The wires of the bell circuit enter two tubes 9 in the body of the push and are there gripped by the screws 10 which carry the terminals 11. The bell circuit is completed by depression of a rubber cap 13 which carries a metallic member 16 adapted to bridge the tubes 9. The push may be used as a pendant push or as a wall push in which latter case, a member 18 similar to the cap 13 is removed, the push is screwed to the wall through holes 19, and a further extension to the bell circuit may be obtained by inserting leads through holes 20, 21 into the tubes 9.
