Stream-cutting machines; punching-machines. -A machine for cutting approximately shaped tablets from a bar comprises a hollow plunger G carried by a rod E reciprocated by a crank B and co-operating with a shaped die K mounted in a member I. The bar of soap is placed upon inclined rollers L and positioned by a stop M. Upon advance of the plunger G a cake of soap is severed and delivered in front of the member I. Grippers on the plunger remove scraps which falls into a box. The plunger G and die K are interchangeable. The machine may be duplicated about the crank B.
