Description

SPECIFICATION Head's belt Background of the invention The present invention relates to a protective belt capable of wrapping around a boby's head, and more particularly to the belt having cushioning means incorporated therewith.
As we may note, infant is apt to fall and get hurt because of the unfamiliarity of adjusting the gravity of his body within the suitable area. Upon falling, he is susceptible to cranial injuries. Thus, to eliminate the craniai injury, it is attempted to provide a protection device.
Summary of the invention Accordingly, the present invention comprises a flexible elongated member which is wrapped around a baby's head to absorbed the shock of falling to protect the baby's skull from injury. The member can be a cushioning material itself or incorporated with cushioning means. In addition the member can be multi-compartmented, which air, i.e. cushioning means, can be blown into for cushioning or drawn out for folding together.
To wrap the belt around the baby's head, the belt can be provided with self-adhesive fabric or sets of buttons at two ends of the belt to fasten or adjust the belt or the length of the belt based on one's need.
Further, the cushioning means can be foam materials or sponge.
It is therefore an object of the present invention, to provide a protective belt for preventing a baby from being damaged when falling.
This and other advantages of the present invention may best be understood with reference to the drawings, in which: Brief description of the drawings Figure 1 is a plan view of expansion of a first preferred embodiment of this invention.
Figure2 is a sectional view taking along line A-A of Figure 1.
Figure 3 is a perspective view of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention.
Figure 4 is a plan view of expansion of a second preferred embodiment of the present invention.
Figure 5 is a sectional view taking along line B-B of Figure 2.
Figure 6 is a perspective view of the second preferred embodiment of the present invention.
Detailed description of the preferred embodiment Referring now to the first preferred embodiment, as shownin Figure 1 to Figure 3, which is made of plastics and forms one set of air-sacs 11 in lines by hot-sealed. Two ends of each air-sac communicates at port 12 and one of the ends provides a valve for inflating 13. Each of the two sides of the belt is provided with a self-adhesive fabric, by which one can press them to bond together and adjust the length of the belt to fit the size of the baby's head.
A second preferred embodiment of the present invention where, as shown in Figure 4 to Figure 6, sponge 23 is provided between the clothes 21 and 22. A set of press studs is provided at one side of the belt, while three sets of press-sockets are provided at the other side, by buckling them, the belt is fastered thereon.
Some modification can be applied to this invention, such as in some decorative way, e.g. some knots or design on it, to induce the baby to be willing or like to put it on.
While the invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not to be limited to the disclosed embodiments but on the contrary, is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangemens included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims which scope is to be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and equivalent structures.
