Two-roller mangles and wringers, driving-gear for; washing - machines with rollers. - In chain gearing for use in wringing machines, mangles, domestic washers and the like, a chain - wheel is carried on a stud A supported in a lever arm B, which pivots on a stud c<2> cast into the framing C. The stud passes through a slot c<3> in the framing concentric with the stud c<2> and is adjustably secured by a nut a'. To facilitate adjustment, the hub b<1> of the arm B is formed hexagonal, preferably identical with the nut a', so that the arm may be turned by a spanner. A flange b on the arm engages a circular recess in the framing to provide a large bearing-surface and prevent binding.
