Dobbies; shedding-levers.-A double lift dobby comprises pairs of pendent hooked levers d<1> - - d<2> supported by cross rods c connecting arms b on a shaft a which is oscillated from the tappet shaft. These levers d<1>, d<2> can engage undercut or hook like parts e<2> on heald-shaft operating- levers e, this engagement being controlled by cranked plate-like levers h<2>, h<3> acted upon by the lags on a pattern barrel h. The levers d', d<2> may fit through slots in the levers e or may pass between these levers, which are then provided on one or both sides with lateral undercut projections for the hooks. The levers e operate companion lifting-levers e<3> by means of arms e<5>. The levers h<2> pass through a grid i.
