Abstract
212,564. Badois, L. March 5, 1923, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Reservoir nibs. - A reservoir attachment for pen-nibs comprises: a device having thereain or forming in combination with the nib a series of capillary spaces for retaining ink. in one construction, a number of vertical slots are cut in the feed-member 1, and the device is so arranged beneath the nib that a capillary space is left between itself and the nib. The slots may extend to the front of the device or an end wall 4 may be left for strengthening purposes. The slots 3 may be formed wider at the bottom than at the top, ard a second similar device may be secured above the nib. To increase the capacity, a series of tubes or half tubes of rigid, plastic. or elastic material are mounted around the nib and feed member to provide additional capillary spaces, radial holes being formed in the tubes to facilitate entrance of ink.
