Abstract

A combination article comprises a clothes airing frame hinged to an article of furniture, such as a seat, so as to be movable between a raised in-use position and a lowered out-of-use position. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Small clothes airer (craquet) The craquet is a piece of furniture which has several uses.
Mainly airing the clothes of an infant, and the clothes rails Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 being attached and handy forthe use of aired clothes, and handyforthe person using "the craquet".
The clothes rails being fixed to "craquet" by means of 2NO C.P. fancy hinges, and 2NO toy hood joints, which enables the rails to be raised and held in a fixed position for use, and folded down and held in a closed position when not in use.
CLAIMS (Filed 4 May 1982) 1. A combination of a seat, a frame with dowelling rails for holding and airing small clothes i.e. babies clothes etc.
2. FIG 1 Side view showing appliance with the airing frame in a closed position, but able to be used as a seat.
3. FIG 2 Side view, showing appliance in an open, or in use position.
4. FIG 3 End view, showing appliance in an open, or in use position.
5. FIG 4 Clothes holding frame, consisting oftwo end rails with dowelling rails to hold and air clothes.
6. FIG 5Pivot arm, one end of a pair fixed to the outside edge of clothes holding frame FIG 4 and the other end fixed to the inside edge of leg FIG 1 to hold the frame in an open, or in use position, or closed.
7. FIG 6 Hinge fixed to the nescessary ends ofthe clothes holding frame and the under side rail of the seat frame FIG 1.

Mainly airing the clothes of an infant, and the clothes rails Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 being attached and handy forthe use of aired clothes, and handyforthe person using "the craquet".
