Abstract

Spray carburettors.- In carburettors wherein the fuel orifices f, g are formed in a removable hood a, the hood is of non-circular but symmetrical, e.g. lenticular, cross section. and may be replaced bv others of different thickness in order tc vary the air passage around the jet orifices. The hood is mounted on a spindle b in which flats are formed to produce channels e leading from the fuel space d' to the outlet orifices. The hood is secured by and may be remved by unscrewing the nut c.
