Casing with internal revolving cutters. - A machine for cutting-up wheat and other grain comprises a rotary horizontal shaft provided with radial arms carrying at their outer ends adjustable and reversible cutters adapted to coact with cutters fixed upon the inner surface of a perforated cylinder into which the grain is fed and which is pivotally mounted and provided with adjusting means for rocking it from a position concentric with the shaft into a position eccentric thereto so as to adjust the distance between the cutters on its lower part and the rotary cutters. The perforated cylinder 7 with the cutters 6 is pivotally mounted at 8 between the end frames 9 and supported by an eccentrically-mounted shaft 10 that can be turned in its bearings 1 by means of a hand-lever 12. The cutters 5 are adjusted on the arms 4 on the shaft 3 and are each made reversible and formed with four cutting-edges. The grain is fed by a feed-hopper 16 and inlet 13, and the cut grain passes out of the cylinder by way of the outlet 14. The dust passes through the perforations of the cylinder into a shoot 17, the upper part of the cylinder being surrounded by a casing 18.
