Abstract
A lawn edge trimmer, for use in conjunction with a wheeled lawn mower comprises a cutting disc which is placed against the edge of a wheel on the mower, by either elongating one axle of the mower to accommodate the cutting disc, or by reducing the width of a wheel to accommodate the addition of the cutting disc on the existing axle. The cutting disc is of greater diameter than the wheel beside which it is located on the axle. <IMAGE>

SPECIFICATION
A lawn edge trimmer
For use in conjunction with a wheeled mower.
A cutting disc is placed against the outside edge of a wheel on the mower, by eiongating one axle of the mower to accommodate the cutting disc, or by reducing the width of a wheel to accommodate the addition of the cutting disc on the existing axle.
The cutting disc being of greater diameter than the wheel that it is located beside on the axle, and protruding past the extremities of the wheel. Edge cutting will be achieved by propelling the outside edge of the wheel and cutting disc in line with the edge of the lawn.
Edge cutting may be done whilst the mower is in operation.
The weight of the mower assists in cutting of edges; for mowing without edge cutting, the disc for edge cutting should be removed from beside the wheel and a washer of the same thickness as the cutting disc can be placed on the axle.
CLAIM
A lawn edge trimmer using a cutting disc adjacent to, and on the same axle as, any wheel on a lawn mower (being manually, self propelled, or driver operated) to curt lawn edges by the cutting disc being of greater diameter than the wheel to which it is adjacent.
