Plant for the transformation and transport of thermal energy, particularly for driving heat pumps, comprising at least one exchanger (9, 10, 11) effecting the expansion of a fluid in a cyclic mode by technical means or in a natural way. The cyclic expansion obtained allows the actuation of the compressor part (5) of a heat pump or another apparatus.
