Explosives.-Slow and rapid burning fuse cords are loaded with basic lead salts of nitrocompounds, such as dinitrocresols, dinitrophenols, picramine acid. hexanitrodiphenylamine, and tetranitrodiphenylamine, and mixed or double salts of these with each other or with multiple basic, partly basic, or neutral salts. Oxygen carriers may be added. Specifications 180,605, and 192,830 are referred to.
