Loading circuits to improve transmission.- The self-inductances per unit length of the sections of a continuously loaded conductor capable of being exactly reproduced are measured as they are turned out from the factory, and the sections are connected in such sequence that they represent a series with a decreasing or increasing self-inductance or one that is symmetrical towards the middle of the line. The balancing may be effected only in those sections of the line lying towards the end.
