Loading or otherwise modifying circuits to improve transmission.-The relation between the resistance R, inductance L, capacity C. and leakance G for a minimum attenuation value is R G - = -, and this is obtained according to the L C invention by reducing the capacity instead of by increasing the inductance as is usually done. Small condensers may be inserted in series in the line, or the adjacent sections of the line may overlap for a short distance so as to produce a capacitative effect.
