Abstract
208,990. Cracknell, J. G. June 27, 1923. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Washing-plungers of the collapsable type. A hollow handle 2 is fixed to a disc 3 to which is secured a sleeve 6 of flexible material attached at its lower end to a perforated disc 8 provided with feet 19. A spring 13 tends to maintain the sleeve stretched and the lower disc is guided by a rod 11 telescoping into the handle. A relief valve 14 may be fitted and the body of the plunger may be surrounded by a casing 18 attached by means of a spider to the lower disc.
