208,028. Harwood, J. Jan. 4, 1923. Sight-testing apparatus .-Oculists' trial frames, wherein a pair of glass plates E are supported in carriers independently adjustable along a frame bearing an adjustable, nose-piece M, have the frame A constructed as a rectilinear guide provided with scales J over which move the carriers D of the plates E. Adjustment is effected by screwed rods operated by milled heads L. Attached to the frame A are adjustable carriers supporting the spectacle sides 1, and a support N for the bridge M which may be moved both horizontally and vertically, as shown. The bridge M is pivotally mounted on its carrier, having a pointer R moving over a scale T to indicate the slope required. A similar graduated arc 6 is provided to indicate the required angle of the sides. In the case of curled spectacle sides, the curled portions of the adjustable sides 1 are also adjustable on the sides.
