Abstract

A control valve (15) is located in an air guide duct (12) directed towards the cutting location. Interchangeable, shaped parts (13) varying the direction of the air flow may be provided. In order to be able to repeat as desired practical combinations between the shaped parts (13) and the positions of the control valve (15), setting symbols (24 to 26) are associated with the various shaped parts (13) and the various rotary positions of the control valve (15) for optimal matching of the chip removing device to various materials to be worked on. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION A hand machine tool, especially a keyhole saw State of the art The invention originates from a hand machine tool according to the preamble to claims 1 and 4.
A hand machine tool of this kind is already known from German OS 25 46 527. The air guide ducts provided in this machine serve either for extracting or blowing away chips existing at the cutting location. Thus, the action of the sucking or blowing devices which are used is not ideal since they cannot be matched to the materials of the workpieces to be operated on. For example, for operating on wood, an air flow with considerable sucking or blowing effect is of advantage. For operating on materials which require a lubricating and/or cooling medium, care must be taken that the sucking or blowing air flow does not remove the lubricating and/or cooling medium from the cutting location.
Advantages of the invention As opposed to this, the hand machine tool in accordance with the invention comprising the characterising features of claims 1 and/or 4 has the advantage that the sucking or blowing air flow can be matched optimally to the material to be operated on. By means of the control valve used in the air supply duct and/or the insertion of various shaped parts at the opening from the duct facing the cutting location, an optimal matching of the chip removal device to the different needs required by the material is made possible with simple means.
Advantageous further developments and improvements of the said hand machine tool are made possible by the measures set forth in the sub-claims. Forming the control valve as a pin passing transversely through the air guide duct is of special advantage. This control valve is of simple construction and easily operated. Preferred operating positions of the said control valve can be established in a simple manner by means of detents. In cooperation with the easily exchangeable shaped parts at the opening from the duct, it can be preferable to provide the various shaped parts with identical marks associated with the various control positions of the control valve.
Drawing An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing and is described in more detail in the following specification. Figure 1 is a view of a hand machine tool in accordance with the invention partially in section and Figure 2 is a side view of Figure 1 in the direction of the arrow A indicating a section line.
Description of the embodiment A motor (not shown) and a known gearbox for driving a saw blade holder 3, are accommodated in a machine housing 1 provided with air slots 2. A keyhole saw blade 4 is clamped in the saw blade holder 3. A base plate 5 is connected by an arcuate bridge 6 to the machine housing which, in its turn, is mounted by means of a screw 7. A holder 8 is also fixed in the machine housing 1 and carries a supporting roller 9 for the keyhole saw blade 4. Moreover, the supporting roller 9 is mounted on an axle 10 which is secured by pins 1 The machine housing 1 forms an air guide duct 12. Its opening on the cutting location side is formed partially by various exchangeable shaped parts 13 which are retained in a dovetail guide 14 in the machine housing 1.A pin 15 with a cut-out portion 16 passes transversely through the air guide duct 12. Moreover, this cut-out portion 16 is so dimensioned that a remaining web 17 on the pin 15 can open the air guide duct 12 in one extreme rotary position of the pin 15 (clearly shown in Figure 1) and can close the air guide duct 12 in another extreme rotary position. In the position of the web 17 indicated in dotted lines, the web only opens a small portion of the cross section of the air guide duct 1 2. The end of the pin 15 leading to the outside carries a handle 18. In an axially parallel bore 19, the said handle 18 accommodates a detent pin 20 and a detent spring 21. Detent recesses 22 corresponding to the hemispherical head on the detent pin 20 are arranged in the machine housing 1. A mark 23 can be set opposite different setting symbols 24 to 26.
Appropriate setting symbols can be applied to the various shaped parts 13. For example, the shaped part 13 inserted, for example, in Figure 1, carries the setting symbol 24. The combination in accordance with this setting symbol 24 between the shaped part 13 and the position of the pin 1 5 acting as a control valve is optimal for operating on wood. The pin 15 is accommodated in a bore 27 in the machine housing 1 and is secured therein by a snap ring 28. The cutting location of the keyhole saw blade 4 is referenced 29.
The device shown in the embodiment is designed as a blowing device. The air which is drawn in is conveyed partially through the air guide duct 12 to the cutting location 29.
1. A hand machine tool, especially a keyhole saw, comprising a motor driving a cutting tool (keyhole saw blade) and an air guide duct directed towards the cutting location, characterised in that, a control valve is inserted in the air duct.
2. A hand machine tool according to claim 1, characterised in that, the control valve is formed by a pin provided with a cut-out portion in the region of the air guide duct and passing transversely through the air guide duct, an end passing out of the machine housing and a handle located at the said end for rotating the pin.
3. A hand machine tool according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that, a detent device is associated with the pin formed as a control valve.
4. A hand machine tool, especially a keyhole saw, comprising a motor driving a cutting tool (keyhole saw blade) and an air guide duct directed
