Abstract

205,908. Alley, S. E., and Hutt, A. C. July 28, 1922. Sides, floors, and framing.-L-shaped brackets for securing together a beam 11 abutting end-on to another beam 10 in the support of a vehicle floor 12 or like surface, and secured in the angles, between the beams, are made of channel section to embrace the beams. The sides 16 of the channels are housed' in grooves in the beams 10, 11, or may pass over the outside of the beam 11. In addition, ribs on the brackets may enter grooves in the beams 10, 11. Bolts 14, 15 secure the brackets to the beams, and the bolts 14 may also be utilized to secure the socket 21 of a stanchion for the wagon side or other fitting. The member 11 may be reduced at its end' whereby the bolts 14 may be brought closer together.
