Abstract

205,721. Done, C. W., and Newill, R. H. Nov. 14, 1922. Vehicle lamps, directing.-In means for directing motor-vehicle head lamps with the steering- gear, each lamp is mounted on a rotatable vertical spindle 2 which is journaled in a bracket 3 secured to the vehicle frame and is operatively connected to the front wheel coupling rod 7 by a straight link 8 ball-jointed at 10 and 11 respectively to an arm 5 secured to the lower end of the spindle 2, and to a fitting 9 secured to the coupling rod 7 on the same side of the centre of the car as the lamp operated thereby.
