204,681. Lester, R. Sept. 28, 1922, [Convention date]. Axle bearing guiding arrangements. - A horn plate for railway rolling stock axle-bearings is provided with a recess in each jaw in which a wear plate is inserted so as to engage the jaw frictionally. Each jaw 8 of the horn plate 7 is recessed at 10 to take a wear plate 12, the plate being held in position by the friction of the dovetail joint 11. The plate 12 in each jaw may be perforated in the centre or may comprise two plates let into the jaw from opposite sides. The plates 12 may protrude into the gap between the jaws 8.
