Abstract

203,156. Fisher, W. Sept. 16, 1922. Tilters.-An automatic tilter for barrels, drums &c. comprises a cradle 6, Figs. 4, 5, 7, pivoted towards the front and at 5 and pressed upwards at the rear end by a spring 13. The forward movement of the barrel is steadied by means of a blade spring 23 secured to the cradle and passing resiliently between two rollers 17, 18 secured to the base in the manner shown in Fig. 4, Fig. 5 or Fig. 7. The cradle may be held in its level position by means of a hook 24 and an eye.
