202,581. Walster, J., and Walster, E. Jan. 6, 1923. Stands or supports.-A ground engaging camtype stand or jack J hinged to the vehicle is connected by a chain C to the road wheel. The vehicle is driven forward so as to raise itself on the jack and the chain functions to prevent rotation of the wheel when the adhesion between the wheel and the road is diminished as the wheel lifts. The chain may be connected to the frame of the vehicle instead of to the jack. Specification 194,368 is referred to.
