Abstract

202,391. Mitchell, F. G. May 16, 1922. Loading-hoppers.-A skip-hoist is loaded by means of a feed-hopper discharging on to a rotating table or platform from which the material is transferred to the skip by a plough or scraper. The outlet 3 of the hopper 1 allows the material to fall on to a table 4 rotated by a motor 7. The table is, surrounded by a ring 9. Fig. 3, provided with an inwardly directed scraper 13 which directs the material through a gap 9<a> in the ring into the skip 12. Specifications 142,198, [Class 78 (iv), Loading &c.], and 202,701 are referred to.
