Abstract
202,065. Smith, W. T., and Kynoch, Ltd. May 18, 1922. Sliding-clasp fastenings.-In a fastener for corsets, &c., of the kind described in Specification 12261/15, wherein two flexible stringers C, C are locked and unlocked by a clasp member A sliding or interlocking studs B, B on the stringers, a hook E and eye F are provided in close proximity to the studs B, which render the stringers completely separable. To open, the clasp A is depressed till it rests on the eye F; the hook E can then be drawn from the eye and through the slot at the side of the clasp A. The hook and eye may be of wire secured to rivets H on a plate at the back of the stringers, the ends of the plates being turned over the edges of the stringers at S. Specifications 24782/07 and 136,199 are referred to.
