Abstract

A synthetic resin closure combination comprises an applicator (1) and a screw cap (2) fitting over it, the top end of the applicator (1) having an oval cross-section and the cold flow or bonding welds resulting from the production of the applicator (1) being arranged on the narrow sides of the applicator (1), i.e. the sides with the smallest radius, the applicator (1) having a rounded tip containing a drop-dispensing outlet and a dropping chamber (7) which is initially isolated from the interior of the applicator (1) by a membrane (11), and the screw cap (2) having a pin (6) fixed to a tapering shaft (8) positioned vertically above the membrane (11). <IMAGE>
