Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise transmission efficiency of pressure wave by closing both ends of a case with a flexible film for detecting pressure wave and a high molecule piezo electric film that converts pressure wave into electric signal and filling the chamber thus formed with liquid for transmitting pressure wave. CONSTITUTION:The central part of a case 10 made of synthetic resin is pierced through in its center to form a hole with openings on both ends. The diameter of the bottom opening 10a is made large and that of the top opening 10b is made small. The hole is shaped a truncated cone. The bottom opening 10a is closed by a flexible film 11, and, further, at the end of the top opening of the case 10 a high molecule piezo electric film 12 is laminated to close the top opening 10b of the case 10. The laminated high molecule piezo electric film 12 is held between a lid member 13 that covers the top of the case 10 and the case 10. The chamber 14 formed by the flixible film 11 and the film 12 is filled with liquid 15 that is viscous and has extremely small compressiblility. The liquid 15 transmits pulsating pressure with high efficiency to the high molecule piezo electric film 12.
