Abstract

An upright frame member (5) for a shower screen with a sliding door is formed by a wall connection member (6) to be secured to a wall and an outer member (7) movable transversely with respect to the wall connection member (6) by adjustments means (14) so that the thickness of the frame member (5) can be varied not only overall but between its upper and its lower ends. A pair of spaced webs (12) extend from the outer member (7) and engage, by inwardly turned edge portions (13), resiliently against side faces of limbs (9) of the wall connection member (6). Outwardly turned edge beads (11) on the limbs (9) co-operate with the edge portions (13) to limit the extent of relative movement. <IMAGE>
