Abstract

A transparent, electrically conductive film of tin oxide is formed on the inner surface of glass tubing by dispensing therein a solution of tin chloride, hydrofluoric acid, alcohol and water. The solution is dispensed while the tubing is being drawn and while the glass is still in a softened state.
