Abstract

A pump 1 driven by a motor 11 sucks up a stream of water from the bottom of the craft 5 and expels it from the pump housing 2 as a jet in a direction selected by guide means, such as a baffle 6 slewable about a horizontal axis or an elbow duct rotatable about a vertical axis, through conduits 3,4. The pump 7, its housing 2, the motor 11, and the conduit 4 together form a transportable unit. <IMAGE>
