Abstract
The device, suitable for use in the mining industry, comprises a chamber 1 in which, in the direction of air flow, is installed a fan 3, a liquid sprayer 9, an unbalanced impeller 16, a grid cluster 10, fixed vanes 11 and a sludge separator 5. The unbalanced impeller 16 is designed for imparting an oscillatory motion to the grid cluster 10 and mounted to rotate under the action of air flow on a fixed axle 19 secured in the grid cluster 10. The grid cluster 10 is connected to the walls of the chamber 1 through the mediacy of a resilient gasket 13. The vanes 11 direct dust particles and liquid drops thrown from the oscillating grid cluster onto the walls of the sludge separator 5 for removal through sludge discharge 6. <IMAGE>
