Abstract
Apparatus for generating finely divided particulate bubbles in a liquid comprising a rotating disc 2 mounted at the end of a shaft 1 in a static housing 5, 7. Liquid is drawn up through a hole 76 in the bottom of the housing and ejected from the periphery 7c by the action of radial vanes 3 on the underside of the disc. Gas is drawn into the housing from around the shaft and above the disc and is ejected at the periphery and becomes entrained in the liquid in the form of bubbles. <IMAGE>
