Abstract

In a waterproof instrument case for marine radio receiver and transmitter equipment 6 mounted in a case 1, 2, the radio controls 10, 22, 25 are accessible from the outside of the case by shafts 11 rotatable in bushes 13 in a wall of the case. The bushes are sealed in the wall and an O-ring 17 is provided on the shaft to prevent water entering the case between the shaft and the bush. When the radio has one or more toggle switches, a mechanism is provided (Figures 3 and 4) to convert the rotary motion of one or more of the shafts into the required linear motion for operating the toggle switch. <IMAGE>
