Abstract

Each lever (11, 12) of a tool such as a tin opener or garlic press is provided with a handle (34) having an opening (59) to receive the lever end in form- locked or force-locked manner. Each handle (34) may be a plastics moulding and have the opening (59) formed as a groove between two spaced parallel limbs, a detent projection (38) being formed at one end of the handle to engage a hook on the lever end (33) and claws (40) being formed on the lever end (33) to engage the facing surfaces of the limbs handle. <IMAGE>
