Abstract
A toggle-lever mechanism has two toggle lever pairs 5, 6 and 7, 8 each connected between a fixed member 1 and a movable member 15. To drive the movable member 15 backwards and forwards along a rectilinear path, a hydraulic drive 11 is provided which causes the toggle joints 9, 10 to move towards and away from each other. <IMAGE>
