Abstract

A laser device for shooting simulation and/or for the measurement of distance comprises a laser emitter 12 and a sight 10, which are constructed as separate units and can be attached to each other by fixing means 14 arranged to adjust the axis of the laser emitter 12 parallel to the axis of the sight 10. The laser emitter 12 has an auxiliary light source 26 for generating an auxiliary light beam and a light deflection device 32, 34 which overlaps the light entrance opening of the sight 10 so as to guide the auxiliary light beam into the front of the sight 10. The exit direction C of the auxiliary light beam from the deflection device is rigidly pre-adjusted so as to be opposite and parallel to the exit direction B of the emitted laser beam.
