Abstract

A contact assembly (1) to be soldered to at least one electrical circuit comprises a bifurcated element (5) with a projecting tab between the parts of the element. The tab has soldered to it a ball (12) of solder metal or alloy and when a circuit element is placed between the tab and the bifurcated parts, application of heat will melt the solder and thus secure the connection. <IMAGE>
