Abstract
A rotary joint with hydraulic ducts 41, 39, 42 and 43, 40, 44, e.g.: supporting a drag bucket, comprises a member 7 and a body 12, first and second shoulders (28-27) in the body 12 opposite first and second shoulders (37-30) in the member 7 preventing axial movement; an inner pipe 42 opens into a groove 39 disposed between this member 7 and the body 12 into which opens a main conduit 41, in the body 12, whilst an inner conduit 47, in the body 12, opens into the first shoulder 28 of the body and is connected to the conduit 41, the pressure of the fluid contained in the conduit 41 exerting a thrust on the first shoulder 37 of the member 7 to cause the second shoulders 27 and 30 to abut locking elements 12 and 7.
