Abstract

A strap coupling device comprising a hook shaped fitting 2 and a gripping lever fitting 3. The lever 3 has a securing hook 9 at one end and a free edge 12 at the other end receivable in the hook jaw 4 of the fitting 2. Openings 5, 6, 14 are provided in the fittings for securement of one strap end 1' to one fitting and for the adjustable receipt of another strap end 1 in the other fitting. In use of the device the adjustable strap end is gripped in the hook jaw 4 by the free edge 12 of the gripping lever which is held in coupling position by the securing hook 9 holding the strap 1 which has been connected by being passed through an opening in the hook shaped fitting 2. <IMAGE>
