Abstract

An electrostatographic toner powder contains, as thermoplastic resin constituent, an epoxy resin component obtained from an epoxy resin by blocking of epoxy groups by reaction with a monocarboxylic acid or monohydric phenol and by intermolecular reaction and/or reaction with an epoxy hardener, an epoxy amine obtained by reaction of an epoxy resin and an amine haying a pKa of at least 3, and, optionally, a phenoxy resin. By varying the composition of the toner powders, powders which are adapted to their proposed use, particularly with respect to their fusing and fixing range, thermal stability and charging level may be obtained.
