Abstract

The valve is of the manual opening and automatic closing type and is characterized in that it includes a one piece body 10, having a hollow central part 11, an inlet part 12 and an outlet part 13 in the form of flanges for fastening to pipes, the central part 11 being provided with obturation means 15 to cooperate with the orifice 136 of the outlet part. A control lever 24 acts via a spindle 21, lever 22 and a valve stem 16 to move obturating means 15 and also a valve member 272 which has a last-motion connection with the obturating means and controls flow through a low flow orifice 371. A screw 17 regulates the flow rate through an orifice 144 to thus regulate the closing speed of the valve. <IMAGE>
